Always love coming here. Shirley was great, super friendly and on top of when we needed refills. Other guests super friendly. Burgers & Fish n Chips were great (Burger was gone before I got to take a pic)
The service was excellent! Friendly bar and wait staff. It's great to have a fun conversation while having a perfect, cold beer. The food was delicious. You never go wrong with a burger or my personal favorite, corned beef dinner. Flavorful and tasty! Blarney Stone is across the street from New York Pennsylvania (Penn) Station. Perfect spot to go before and/or after an event from Madison Square Garden! Cheers!
I have always stuck to the old staple Blarney Burger which is so flavorful. But being a Friday in lent switched it up for the homemade clam chowder which was full of clams and potato with a great flavor. The Crab Cake sandwich was huge and served on a buttered roll. On my next trip it's gonna be hard to decide if I wanna go back to the burger or stick with the crabcake.
2nd time I've dragged myself into this spot.......No regrets! NativeNew Yorker(Sadly I'm in DC now Look it's soooooo close to Penn Station That being said it still has a neighborhood bar feel& Katie sealed the deal! She was super sweet & so accommodating!
